Advanced BJJ

Pan-Am 09 (pnut armlock final)

Advanced Program
Once a student has show proficiency in the beginner program and has met the time requirements they would then be eligible to upgrade into the advance program.  The advanced program builds on the principles and techniques of the fundamental program which are minimal effort and maximum leverage, but it is focuses more attention on advanced combinations and techniques.  The advanced student now has the option to train in unlimited BJJ classes and all the No-Gi classes.

The No-Gi class is taught without the Gi or Uniform.  The uniform requirements for the No-Gi class are Gracie Barra shorts or Gi pants and a Gracie Barra T-shirt or Rash Guard with at least 10% of the material matching the color of your belt rank.  You will not be allowed to participate in these classes if you do not have the proper uniform requirements! If any student has any questions about the uniform requirements please contact Professor Muller.  The basic techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are still utilized when not wearing a Gi, but there are less handles and grips making controlling your opponent or submitting them without the Gi an art within itself.  The student, by training both with and without the Gi, should be able to transition between the two styles with ease.
