Competition Results From NAGA (Battle of the Beach)

Representing the Academy with pride Jessica Richer has been putting on strong performances in all the competitions that she has entered and on August 1st, 2009 at NAGA’s Battle of the Beach this one was no different.  Jess literally flew a plane down to Wildwood  and took home two Gold medals in the Women’s Light Heavyweight Blue belt and Advanced No-Gi divisions.  Ben Corpuz also competed well at the Battle of Beach tournement.  Ben took home a Gold medal in the Men’s 149lb intermediate No-Gi division, and a Silver medal in the Blue Belt Gi division.   Congrats to all the academy members who competed and a special thanks to those who travelled to coach/support their teammates.
