Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Congratulations to Billy Pardue and Eric Saidoff for getting their 2nd stripe. Keep up the hard work.
Their will be a NAGA tournament this weekend in New Jersey. They have both styles of competition: a no-Gi or submission grappling division and a GI division with traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu rules. We have a bunch of guys competing and we wish them all good luck. Even if you are not competing it would be nice if you could come down to support your teammates and i am sure they will appreciate it. If you are interested in competing some time in the future it would also be a good idea to come down and get an idea of the point system and how tournaments are run so you know what to expect when you do compete. For all you guys competing I would strongly suggest looking over the rules for the division that you are competing in. For more information about rules, directions, time and place please go to nagafighter.com. Good luck and I hope to see everyone at the tournament this weekend.
This Saturday (4/5/2008) our no-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class is canceled due to a seminar that is be conducted at the Franklin Square location. We apologize for any inconvenience. For more information about the seminar please go to combative-usa.com for more information.

"I have always meant to take a self defense course but always put if off. Recently I decided to look into it again and during my search found Scarola Jiu Jitsu. It is a friendly and welcoming enviroment that makes students feel welcome." - Jill
